Unlike my photography- the "Fight for Fashion" Cancer Benefit Fashion Show
was a great success. I learned today what that "PRESS" pass is for. If I had been backstage I would have been able to take in-focus well-lit shots of each and every outfit. Instead, I sat in the audience because I didn't want to "seem special." I will ask to be special from now on.
The models where moving fast and the lights were blinking. It made for a terrific show, but was almost impossible for me to bring you the fashion shots I know you deserve. I tried to guess the timing of the lights and even started judging the models "moment of turning pause", but still lost quite a few to the dreaded blurs. Live and learn.
However, I did get a few good ones including our very own fashonista Jordan Hampton, who stopped at the end of the runway. Now, I know why they do that. More of her tomorrow too!
Here is one photo that I took that did not need to be rotated. Tomorrow I will rotate, correct, and post some more.
These three fashionable girls were in the audience, but they would have made terrific models themselves.

Camile Cox on the left gave me her answer to this week's question-"What can you not live without this Spring?" by saying "It would be dresses just like the dress I have on. Hippie Chic, long and flowy. I love this style. Like a sundress, only cooler." Lauren Head, on the right, has already been in a Fashion Blog shot this week, after the Dublin Soccer game, sporting a huge yellow bag. She is still styling today and Amber Garnto, wears trendy white beads, designed just to show off that new summer tan. Notice they all are wearing my favorite accessory- a smile. Hope you are smiling too, because today is a beautiful day!
More tomorrow.

Don’t let this season’s rain be the bane of your existence. Instead, enjoy the sound of water droplets on the roof and, when it comes time to brave the great outdoors, deck yourself out in the most fashionable umbrella possible.
